Anybody running Tractor Supply's "Traveller" oil?

Man, the price on that stuff is hard to beat, $8.25/gallon if you buy 4 gallons:

But, I wonder how it does in an IDI as far as consumption.

Has anyone here run it? If so, to what level of success?

I tried it a few years ago without much issue as far as consumption, went back to my usual out of habit on next oil change and never messed with it again. Honestly forgot about it.

Cheaper if you buy it in the 5 gallon bucket.

Not right now! The 5 gallon bucket is $50, while 4x 1 gallon is $33. Even if you buy a 5th single gallon at $13, you still pay $4 less vs the 5 gallon bucket. ($33+13=$46) And you don't have to mess with pumping the oil out of the 5 gallon bucket.

It's good oil. Made by Warren. Same as the walmart supertech oil. I ran that in my peterbilt and the used oil analysis came back with great results.

It isn't marked as being on sale. Maybe they are just trying to clear older stock, since it's 1 gallon jugs shoved in a box of 4. That's why it's a separate, oddball listing.

I was going to say, it's hard to beat oil prices at walmart. They sell 15w40 also.

Yep, I have used it in my F250. The 4qts of Traveller beats it right now though.

Ah, I see. I think back when I ran it, they just had the 5 gallon, and 2 gallon jugs.
