I am fairly certain the IVR system was discontinued in 87 when the bricknose trucks came out, and in 92 in the vans changed body styles. Our 83 F-150 and 85 E-150 did this. The 80-86 trucks (83-86 for diesel) definitely have the IVR, they are the last truck the oil pressure gauge moved with pressure changes. Yes it does just have the normal range BS instead of numbers. In 87 in the F-Series and 92 E-Series to present the gauge just moves to the center of the range when st least 7 psi of oil pressure is present.
