I lost my face to the jaws of a poodle
Yes it's hot and so was I recharging the system on the Beef last night.
The compressor has a thin hairline crack on the top of the hounsing and was ******* out oil and 134a.
I have a spare compressor on the ole 85 460 truck and am eying that one up.
The problem with this one is the clutch is a wee bit rusty from sitting but the compressor turns over fine and seems to function.
Can the clutch be removed from these things and are they interchangable?
They look very similar is shape. just different mounting hardware.
There is a single 9/16" nut retaining the clutch but not sure if that is all for removal. Or is the use of a pulley removal tool needed to disassemble things with a bit of force.
