Thanks in advance for the help! I'm looking at a 95 F350 with a weird problem.
It will start and run fine for about 15 minutes. Doesn't matter if driving or sitting at idle. Then it shuts off. It will re-start but immediately shut off. Let it sit for 2 or 3 hours, and it will run for 15 min. and do the same thing again.
I can but the truck cheap due to the problem, but would like to know what the problem is BEFORE I buy it.
My guess is the cpu, but thats just a guess. I know you guys will know what this is.:hail:hail:hail

Thanks,
Chuck

only real way to tell is put a good scanner on it.but it could be the CPS or the fuel heater shorting out.under valve cover wiring harnesses.take the oil fill cap off and smell inside the cover and see if you smell burnt wiring.could also be injector orings, drain some fuel from the water drain and see what color the fuel coming out is.dead PCMs are rare in a psd.
