87 ford 6.9 idi tach and gauges not working

Need help getting gauges and tach working on 87 ford idi. How do I find power source? There are no fuses for it. They worked for about an hour one day so cluster must be good.

do you get lights on when you put the headlights on? if you do then the cluster is working. in the back of the cluster where you connect, make sure there are no frayed metal tabs coming off the flat wite board, the red mother board for the cluster. also do a search on this fourm, there are great pictures and diagrams that can help you further. im sure your grounding out somewhere thats causing the gauges to work and then **** off.
