Found a like new set of four tires for 300 bucks. They are 900 sixteens. The ones that are on my 84 f250 are 7.50 16's. Are the 900 a good option and a good buy they are about 90 percent to the good.

They're a decent amount bigger, don't recall how much. I'm thinking I heard 9.00-16 is approximately 35-36" diameter.

I have some old Michelin 9.00R16's kicking around. They're about 35" when well-worn.

Check the dates (last 2 digits of the DOT #). Old rubber that flies apart the first time they get a good run at speed are not worth $300.
