Your electric pump does not supply enough pressure or fuel volume to support the engine. Get a Facet duralift or a Carrier electric lift pump.

Got a Holley red on mine. It has 8.5 psi at idle and 3 psi under full load. Which is too low. I just had it laying around so put it on. They require more than a person thinks.

Going to upgrade to a facet.

that's about perfect. you will not see more with a faucet.
my holley is a black pump with a inline regulator
CDI flows these pumps with 5 psi

Another reason you can't get enough fuel to the injection pump is the filter you installed AFTER this electric pump. It might be making too much restriction of flow thru it. If your engine still has the original fuel filter in place why are you running an extra filter. Might take it off and see if that helps flow.

Thanks for the picture of the water separator. Best I can tell you is bypass it and see what happens. Why do you have this in the fuel line anyway? If you have the factory fuel filter it has a water separator built into the bottom of it. Please tell this forum what year this truck or van is.

The standard filter is on the engine passenger side at the front. It looks like an oil filter but has a seperate bottom aluminum cover with the water in fuel sender in it. They can be purchased new or used on ebay all the time. they will trap plenty of water and when they reach the sender the dash lite comes on telling you Water In Fuel. Then you open the drain in the bottom of the filter and drain it off.
Here is what the top and bottom of the filter heads look like.

The facet's sediment bowl/filter housing also separates water
