7.3 Rockers on a 6.9??

I know someone has them, I'm curious if it's worth it, and how much room there is from valves to the piston. I do have a little higher lift cam, just not sure how much, or what the specs are.

They are the same lift, just a better design. They'll wear less over time.

Very well worth installing them. Every 6.9 truck we've had has had atleast one of the factory style rockers fail. Dodged a bullet every time so far. Change them and have peace of mind.

Oh, so it's just design. If I remember right, the old syle 6.9's had that bridge between the two, the somewhat upside down U deal, that would break. Am I thinking correct? All the ones in all my trucks now, are the updated style with just the bar underneath that connects the two. Are the 7.3's still different?
