7.3 idi intermittent starting issues

The kit comes with the copper washers, but I ordered the early style, and my truck has the late style. I assume since the only difference is the hose size, they are still compatible?

One of the injector nozzles got stuck in the head when I took out the top half of it.
I suppose theres no possibility of that one working again, even if I get it out?

I dont see the water separator on the firewall, but Im not completely sure what Im looking for either.

That is the exact cold air intake I need that goes beside battery ...my above battery one wont fit something bout group 31 batteries

Sounds like might be air...best really wait to see after return lines...did you swap fuel filters out too?

Usually you grind the upper threads off top section that retain injector In head...the large diameter ones. Then thread the unit into injector tip again and work it out carefully.

I hesitate to tell folks to zwap coppers without first having tools to contend with issues like you are experiencing.

Members here have spare injectors so you could wait to get a core spare to make into a puller....and in answer to your question ...if cleaned and properlly assembled it could be made work again fine hopefully.

Well, I picked up my worst knuckle smash yet tonight, torque wrench popped off right it front of the sharp edge on a bracket.
I ground the top threads off and threaded it back in, but the damn thing is packed so hard with carbon, no amount of prying and simultaneous hammer work will even budge it loose. The carbon build up above the nozzle was so solid I actually thought the bore tapered in after the threads. And of course it had to be one of the back ones, so I cant fit my slide hammer on it. I dug out what carbon I could, went through about half a can of pb blaster, and eventually attempted to crank the motor with the IP disconnected to blow the nozzle out. It blew the insides of the nozzle out, but left the threaded jacket. After that I welded shut the top hole and return hole on the top half, threaded it on, and tried to blow it out again, but it just wont budge. And now the threads on my improv pulling tool are starting to go. Before I called it quits for the night I replaced enough nozzle guts for it to hold liquid, and filled the well with seafoam deep creep. Ill try something tomorrow, maybe get out the propane torch and hope I dont set one of the many pools of flammable liquid on fire. You guys got any ideas on how to get the dirty ******* out?

Come remove the broken injector and you can have it, Ill just suck hot air from the air cleaner.
