Over here in Bend, Oregon the wrecking yards want $1,500 for a 6.9 engine! Luckily, I have a neighbor just down the street that is selling a 7.3 (needs head gaskets) and a running 6.9 for $500!;Sweet He'll also throw in a '86 F350 CC (351cid gasser) 4x4 with a D60 in the front for an additional $700! If I only had the money... fastass350 may be buying the "package deal" since I can't though.

I think it would be pretty slick to keep the PSD and T19 and add an auxillary OD like a DNE2 or USGear. Can't beat that setup for toughness and fuel economy if you like manuals. I really hope you have a complete donor truck. If you do ditch the trans I may be interested in the bell only. Would have to think it over. That bell is worth 50-100 bucks by itself the trans is only worth a couple hundred maybe 3 bills to the right guy. It may be worth more w/o the bell since it could go behind just about anything Ford made with the correct bell.

I'm new to this forum and I've been poking around a bit. I can't seem to find a classifieds section. Does it exist?

I'm in the market for a running, relatively low mileage, 6.9 or 7.3

EDIT: You guys call it the "Marketplace"
