My 6.9 is for some reason sputtering an bogging down as soon as I hit 2000 rpm or higher and I can't figure out why, when it does it it sounds like its missing. What is going on??
6.9 sputters and has no power????

I have tried tweaking the timing of the injection pump and it didn't change, I double checked all the injector lines and none are leaking, running out of ideas, it ran fine yesterday before I took the ip out to do the intake manifold gasket

How did you remove the IP? With the gear tower attached or just the IP and lines.

Just the IP and lines so that I could leave the gear there so it wouldn't skip time

Sounds like ya might have a leaking intake gasket since all you did was change it. There is a certain torque pattern. I'll see if I can find it. Didn't find it. Whoops, scanned it again. Is this how you torqued them down?
Edit: If you didn't let the RTV cure long enough at each end, it could have sucked in.

That is how I torqued it down that is the same pattern my shop manual shows
