They may be better for the bigger valve springs... but really i think they're better when your truck goes from stop to go very rapidly. Or if for some reason you're slamming it in and out of reverse
?
?
?Nobody thought to ask if they had needle bearings or not?

These are 0.921" in diameter and are the OEM part with the Large Bronze Axle not like the import parts that use a small steel axle with the needles that break.
An excerpt from the eBay listing:
Sounded like the lesser of two evils to me - unless I wanted to spring for genuine International parts at three or more times the price.
I have read that the oil supply passages to the roller are EDM machined, and it sounds like they are very small. That makes sense to me because if they were too big, the lifter would never pump up or it would bleed off too quickly. I haven't disassembled one of these to look.
I will be stopping at a local automotive machine shop (hopefully tomorrow) and will attempt to find out more about these lifters.
Whats the difference between genuine International parts and these listed?
I was under the impression they were factory oem parts?
I have no idea what International used - only going by what's posted by others in this thread.
I figured that these were Sealed Power, Muskegon, TRW, Wolverine, Melling, etc.
this is the place people are going to know...lol I play on the other sites...and If I want facts I start here...if I want out of the box opinions...well you get the point
