5 speed tranny question

just bought a f450 that has been sitting for 4 years!!! glow plugs don't work order 8 motor craft. started on a shot of bad bad juice runs like a top. changing all fluids. The rig got a 5 speed does it take ATF? if so what grade?

Mercon ATF............ Approx. 4 quarts

I Used ATF Full Synthetic. Some people get different results, youre just gonna have to experiment

just keep filling it until the fluid runs out of the hole.

Ya, wrong info on the amount. Should have looked closer at your signature, didn't realize you had an F450.... Sorry.
