1991 dash, redoing gauges

i am going to replace the stock oil pressure, alternator output, and water temp. i am going to cut holes in the dash and install the aftermarket gauges where the stock ones used to be. are the factory gauges mechanical, or electric. and last what would be a good fuel pressure, water temp, oil pressure, also going to do a pyro and 2 fuel pressure under the steering wheel or on top of the dash. going to keep the stock speedo and tach

lol yea....seriously though you may have to look at some small gauges to get them to fit and leave to stock speedo and tach

the gauges are 2", and i will only be replacing the water temp, and oil press, all the others will be on top of dash and by stereo

thats not so bad then...if you want a new bezel cut to help cover the hole and mount the gauges cleanly i can help. i would need a cluster to make a pattern....prolly can do it for $20 pm me if interested

we'll see, right now the the big thing i need to know is what is a good oil pressure, water temp, oil temp, and fuel pressure to run at?

issopro or autometer for gauges..........oil pressure should be 5-15psi hot idle and 40psi at speed...water temp is 190º normal dont go over 235º

someone else can chime in for oil temp and fuel pressure. fuel pressure im sure is pretty low though

i am going with glow shift gauges they have a sale for 1/2 off and i heard lots of good thing from a few people on here.

I've got a pyro from them and have been happy with the quality and accuracy (used a heat gun to check the temperature at idle). I would recommend them to anyone.

fuel pressure im sure is pretty low though

Im pretty sure its 7psi ish max.

as far as gauges.. i run 7 glowshift gauges and for my speedo tach and fuel gauge i used autometer...love every single one of them equally
