1979 f350 4x4 auto 6.9 ats turbo swap LOOK!!!!

guys, made up my mind.

I will be taking the ats turbo 6.9 and putting it into my 1979 f350. I am having a built c6 to go in place of the original c6 and am leaving everyhting as stock as possible.

Okay so now that its decided, what am i going to run into doing this. I know there is a few that have done this so please help me out. I ordered the tranny, and i will be doing this on my winter break. So guys give me some advice etc.

Anyone know where i can get a good used or cheap rebuilt motor?

As it would be dumb to gut the truck i just bought of the motor. Unless someone gave me a direction to get a cheap running diesel to put back in the truck so i can sell it whole and recover my money or? I guess i could just sell the truck whole with title just no motor.

Mel what do you think i should do as i just need the motor setup for the 79, everything else i have or need to fab.
