Hey guys I thought id share my old work truck.. my friend owns a mini bin debris box company.

It is a PSD/ZF5 but I dont talk smack about it ;-)

these 19.5s were scored from a junk CHEVY motorhome.

He had the centers machined out to fords spec. For years I had no idea the ford and chevy used the same pattern till decoding a alcoa product fitment PDF.

225 70 19.5 rides like a brick in the back with nothing. Driving with a empty bin it rides surprising smooth

I am surprised that Calvin has never shed light on this subject. I always thought the 16" wheels were a weak spot on the F-Superduty. Problem solved!!!

i knew the wheels would "bolt up". but the hub centers would have to be modified. never lucked into coming into a set to try out. not to mention the cost for rubber is stratospheric. my cost is $253 ea. for good bridgestones. yowch.

Sad end to a great cali work truck in Jan. 2015. What about other states Calvin. Are they following us or are they buying up what can't be streeted here. Stupid tree huggers ruining another small business mans dreams of making a living in cali. Too bad a group of idi busines owners didn't talk to these idiots about being able to run fry oil or wmo. But alas.. They had an agenda to rid the roads of diesel trucks. If it happens to us in our f250 and 350 rigs I don't know what I will do. Its a reason to move out of state but where. My fear would be the chase. I will never drive a battery powered car or truck. For me its idi till I die.

it wasn't the tree huggers exactly. its about money, politics.

sure they said it was for the environment but they have no idea how much more fuel is being burned because of these "emission controls"

how many perfectly good trucks will be useless. i still think keeping a older truck on the road is more carbon-neutral than buying a whole new fleet.
