i got the 5.9 but your statment about the half year confuses me cause when i ordered mine i had the option of 5.9 or 6.7

are the electronics the same and all the sensors? can i use all the performance computers and exhaust that was made for a 06 model

as far as I know the 06 vintage is identical to the 07 in the 5.9 version

I dont believe they made any changes until they went to the 6.7

anything that works on the 06 and 07 are interchangeable. The engines are physically identical. Only the trucks features themselves have slight changes from 06 to 07. I heard from a tech guy at a Dodge dealership that the 07 model has slightly revised injectors and injection mapping on the ECM. Your truck's engine is known as the Cummins 6BT 325-610. You can cross reference that to many different aftermarket part manufacturers spec guides. I have been into this for a while, so if you have any questions i'll try to help. I can tell ya what works and what doesn't, based on my own experiences and those of my close friends.
