white smoke on startup
Does anyone have an idea what possible could cause white smoke and rough idle on cold start. Just recently started about 2k miles ago and seems worse little by little. Smokes for 20 sec. then cleans up, also cleans up and idle smooths out if I give her a little throttle. Injectors? cp3...- rigrunner

My 06 did the same thing, would run rough. When I let it sit for a day it would run fine for a few miles then start missing again. had same code, but when I took it to the dealer they couldn't find the problem untill they finally replaced the injectors and no trouble since.- rigrunner

cold starts ?
have started my 5.9 at -30. oh and it wasn't plugged in. I almost always plug her in and she always starts right up. at -0 just cycle your heater and turn her over, it should start.- rigrunner

Thanks couldn't seem to get a good answer to that. I had one set of Injectors go out at 35k and always try to find the best filters possible. I now have 80k and still seem to have no problems.- rigrunner

Does anyone know for sure what micron rating on this filter is? Have heard that is a 5 micron, but can't find out for sure. any help, thanks- rigrunner
