Have you used or even heard of this fuel additive?

I'm not bashing. Running an additive is necessary. But the last line on their page is funny. "EDT can also be used in furnace fuel oil for more efficient fuel utilization and a more trouble-free furnace operation without producing any harmful emissions." They advertising goes from trucks to...

    How much straight pipe cost?

Hey kid. By straight piped, do you mean have the local shop remove your existing muffler and put a piece of pipe in it's place? Cash money, That shouldn't be much more than $50 - $75 A complete 4" mandrel bent kit which would actually lower egts will be considerably more than that. Otherwise...

    Straight Pipe 7.3 idi

Just straight piping your truck will make it sound faster but in all reality there will be little to no effect. Much like flipping the air cleaner lid back in the old days. 50yr olds know what I'm talking about. :) Secondly, Your fuel mileage is controlled solely by your right foot. Not a tach...

    Truck bed camper thoughts.

I'm ok with that. notenuftime. One thing I learned with my slide-in is you don't need to or want to crank down the anchors like you might want to. I ended up buying some cool turnbuckles that had a spring incorporated into them. The ride was way better and absolutely no chance of pulling the...

    Truck bed camper thoughts.

A camper tie down can be something as simple a length of angle iron bolted to your frame and extending out the side just enough to clear the body. A turnbuckle and bit of chain. That takes care of your front mount and the rear can attach to the rear bumper.

    Truck bed camper thoughts.

Not entirely sure on that. But it is posted in the rules. I guess you can copy some of the info and pics and post that up?

    Truck bed camper thoughts.

Someone will come by shortly and slap your pee pee for posting the CL link. I spent a year homeless living in a standard chevy van. It sucked. A pickup and camper would have been a lot nicer. Sorry to hear of your situation. I suggest you keep your truck and go with a slide in camper. The one...
