    I have a front axle from an 88 f350 dually 4x4. It is a dana 60 with what i believe to be 4.10 gears. It is complete lockout to lockout. It even has decent rotors and pads. Asking $850

    Are you talking about the little valve on the side of the injector pump? If so i will be pulling my c6 out of my 85 some time next week for the zf swap. I will have one available then. Let me know if you are interested.

    Dual mass flywheel question?

    How do you check to see if they are good? I am not referencing the clutch surface, i am refering to the dual mass part? I just picked one up the the local yard and i want to make sure it is good before i do my tranny swap. If it is bad can they be rebuilt?

    So......After doing some investigating. I found that the 87's were available with a 6.9 and a zf. So i was thinking about getting a flywheel for that application. But i don't understand the difference between dual mass and single mass flywheels? Which one do i want?

    Well................ I scored today! 93 zf 5 speed w/t-case $100. Now i need to find a flywheel,clutch fork, mastercylinder and a pedal assbly.

    Has anyone done this? My buddy is considering it. We understand the gear difference's, shifter, etc. Will his flexplate work?

    I am considering a trans swap. I was wondering as to wether or not the flywheel from a 7.3 could be used on my 6.9? Other then that it should bolt right up to the motor, correct?

    I would ditch that brake controller also. Just to eliminate one more possibility. If it does not help then i would reconnect it.

    I was at the local yard today and picked up an ats turbo from an 86 6.9 auto. I currently have a banks sidewinder kit on my truck. Niether one of these is wastegated. There are things i like about both of them but i can't make up my mind. So......which would you keep and why. Which ever is left...
