Great looking truck. I have and 89 7.3 450. Canyon Lake. Just starting to change the injectors. These are the original. But my truck is butt ugly work truck. Bought in Abilene for 700dollars. Has 107000 mile. Old wood haulers truck. You figure it out .lol Jack King.
I pickedup a 6.9, when I bought a trailer in Austin texas. It has sit on my 450 for a couple of years. Will take it off. Send it for what ever it is worth. Old Estacada guy. Will go to the yard tomorrow and see. Never sold or sent anything, so. Talk me through it. After I get it off.
Look for an older 650-750-etc truck front bumper. Has slight curve around the nose and fenders. Maybe two of them stacked. Take a look at a medium duty ford truck. Beefy and chrome.
Also you can lap over your present fiberglass, drill it, gunk under the two halves, popribbett it, light fiberglass, a little bondo, sand it, prime it, paint it. Ride in it. Lol
Can you find a small old school bus body, whack off the rear, whack off what you need from the front, entry door, weld the rear to the front, have rear door and seats or bed across. Been done. Works great and is cheap.
I see rodent feces and damage to the wiring, looks like someone has recconected most of the damage. I would take caution on working around the feces. Probably set for a while and you maye need to drop the fuel filter and go through getting any air intrusion out of the lines. There are many...
Another thought. Ford used to have quite a bit of industrial equipment in Germany, also cars and tractors. Maybe the Ford house. It has been quite a few years since I was there, so I dunna know.
Have you tried the Opal haus? They are GM, but may have a parts department that would order them from the states and you could pick them up and maybe beat the import tax and shipping charge?
