Just an update on the temp issue . The kid before me had the injection pump turned way up . Turned it down a good bit and the temp is normal . Thanks for all the help
My buddy at aamco rebuilt the tranny , it got all the upgrades . Unfortunately the light on the shifter doesn't work . I think I may have a problem with the harness . I've ordered new plugs to wire into existing harness , could not find the whole harness for this model . I will post my findings...
Yes it's new as well , and calibrated , even replaced the harness to it. I read in another post it could be the third brake light out ( which it is ) or the rear differential cover . Heard anything on those possibilities ?
The ip is turned up just a little , could that cause hard shifting ? The more I'm into it the harder it shifts , if I'm real easy on the throttle it's not bad
Well I'm back , psom did not solve the hard shifting . I replaced vss , tach sensor ,cleaned the harness plug that goes into the trans, still about the same

Sorry for the late response but thanks for all the info . I actually found a shop locally that can test and repair the psom . Truck is still in the machine shop getting engine rebuilt . Hopefully the psom is the problem if not it's off on a hunt I go .
