    my 91 idi has really been beat. was shop truck and has lots of dents/scratches. i can buy a 86 f250 that has 6.9 in it but the motor is seized or something not 100% sure but the guy wants to just get rid of it for 500bux (whole truck) would it be easier to swap cabs or motors? my motor in my 91...

    i believe it is because they are just like ubolts and can only use them once, they stretch out. by reusing them you will not get a true torque. -josh
