    Tachometer adjustment ?

Didn't think of that I may run a jumper to a good ground and see if it makes it better. I'm driving with the front of cluster off right now as k was adjusting the speedo calibration. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

    Tachometer adjustment ?

The plastic mother board thing is all corroded but I can't seem to find a replacement online, everything else is great... I might have to test traces with resistance. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

Brand New and everything is good. No gunk on the magnet either. The whole harness as far as I can tell is clean. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

    Tachometer adjustment ?

I remember seeing in some random thread that there was a way to adjust the tach? There is this white potentiometer? On abck of the tach is this an adjustment ? My tach just goes nuts when wide open and pegs 4500rpm.... Tach sensor is new, and the gear is good in shape. Wiring seems okay ...

    94 F250 Cluster

So I pulled my cluster out, because my speedo is wiggling ( I just cleaned the VSS ) and the Tachometer is useless, even with a brand new sensor and I haven't seen any wire damage, it just likes to go to 4500rpm when I go wide open. Well the circuit board, that's that shitty plastic is all...

    Should I grab this intercooler?

Anything will be good for an IDI. I haven't installed an intercooler on an IDI But thag doesnt look too big, compared to some I've seen installed. The only issue is the one side inlet and outlet, you're going to have a crammed passenger side engine compartment. Sent from my LM-G710 using...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Really ? I feel like my IDI is the most pissed off truck ever if the batteries aren't 100% all the time.... Maybe my cables are trash... Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

So what did you do with your truck today?

The worry with the high compression and stuff that a single battery unless your fuel system is 100% air tight with zero issues, I'd worry... Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

So what did you do with your truck today?

I'll be honest... Get the cheap ones if you're trying to get it going in a budget. My 12v had cheap 40$ reman batteries in it forever. Not particularly cold where I live currently, but we'd even plug in our gassers in my hometown (Quebec). Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

So what did you do with your truck today?

Batteries are better than bad batteries.. No matter the price. I have Duracell batteries from Sam's club and they're awesome... 89$ a piece. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

    Tachometer issue 94

Is there a way to test the circuit, and if so what readings am I looking for ? My factory tach is useless, when I go wide open after about 2,000rpm it just does what it wants and will peg pass 4k rpm once I get to what I assume is 2900-3200rpm... I'm assuming this is what's causing my extremely...

    Project Le Blanc

I didn't know they made a combo gauge like this, looks like that's the direction I'm going with, I'd like to keep interior as oem as possible and a 3 pillar pod wasn't going to work out for me. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

    Friction modifier for differentials?

I put fresh oil, drive and then add 1 oz at a time till it stops chattering. This is on older well used Differentials, newer well maintained trucks/Diffs I usually just go straight for whatever OE recommends.

    6.9 Blowby...Rebuild or new rings?

Coming from a 12v Cummins to this I thought the motor was shot in mine... Looks like a lot of blow by but also have to consider the inherently high compression ratio of what 22:1? On the 6.9? A lot for rings to try and seal, plus all the old internal rubber ( valve stem seals ) I'm willing to...
