    I see youre videos, Those are from 2004 and Im trying to find the way it happens on the current app. Mind you I'm typing this on a hand built computer. I'm tech savvy but these interfaces dont make any sense whatsoever. I got used to here are you codes. next menu here are your tests. thats it.

    I got misfires and some other stuff to show up now. However it says o on all 8 while there is clearly a misfire and white smoke pouring from the exhaust. I did not figure out how to get cylinder contribution test though. I think that I may just have a bad injector thats half working.

    Well I got the MX+ in today and it doesn't tell me crap about the truck other than rpm and voltage. I tried obdlink, Forscan and torquepro. No idea why it wont connect I'm about to say f it and throw the 1000 bucks at a solus.

    Ok, update time. I found a connector half hanging out of the female end. The gaskets are like new Someone before me did them. I did a voltage drop test and all voltages were equal. Truck ran amazing for about a day until now. WHITE SMOKE everywhere. Feels like a misfire for sure on one cylinder...

    Ok, Ill do that. I just prefer diag stuff with more of a definite reason. The more I look around though the more that sounds like the issue I'm having. I've read that i should see oil coming from the injector while running?

    I have not seen anything weird out of the tach. I don't really know if its a bank or random cylinders. However I do know that it runs right randomly so I'm not thinking compression. Sometimes at idle I notice A LOT of white smoke.

    Got a 97 7.3 260000 miles Sometimes when I start her up sounds like i dropped three injectors and and I got a HUGE cam. I can drive it and sometimes feels like the misses go away and come back and i get a lack in power. No codes that I know of and not sure where to start..

    Ok so I ask a question and do not get it answered. If its possible without jacking up the tire, removing the locking hub and taking the bearing apart. That was it nothing more. Never mind though I'll just do it that way because I can't get an answer.

    Yea but I mean grease them without taking the hub apart. I know how but I'd prefer to be lazy if I can't then Ill just have to do it when it is a bit warmer.

    I looked several times for some suspect wiring and didn't notice anything. didn't smell anything either. I guess Ill just have to wait for the problem to come back.

    I'm an idiot I I know what the UVCH is. I replaced some glow plugs not too long ago and didn't disconnect them from underneath the covers. everything looked fine so I didn't mess with it. The reason I did mention the number 8 injector was from when I first ran a contribution test it failed number 8.

    I did read that online somewhere and I understand now, That issue was for the SD and not the OBS. I'm an idiot for clearing the code I know. UVCH? I'll look at that because I've never heard of it.

    So I had a full rebuild done with a transtar torque converter and rebuild kit, got new solenoid packs too. issues are fixed now...
