You do have a point there on that, that was the one thing in my mind still a bit iffy about that alloy, i dont have any testing setup and wont for some time but i was going to make different sets of stainless alloys to see what results i get, 316 would make it more cost effective and cheaper to...- Brennsky

i was looking at the 316l Prodec stainless supplied on pennstainless and i think i could use that material to machine up new precups, there were a handfull of alloys viable for this application in stainless steel...- Brennsky

There is a possibility of making that happen, that would be interesting to see, i would take a guess that the injectors would need to make their own spray pattern as well as compensating for the 21.5:1 compression ratio with a higher pressure injection pump and then timing of the injection- Brennsky

I dont know to much about the GM diesel line but i suppose it would be worth looking into as well for production, I have done extensive reading into applications of different alloys including inconel and it appears to me that they are using the alloy 713c inconel which is casted first and then...- Brennsky
