7.3 Fuel Heater Delete Pipe Plug

True, Loctite is a less permanent solution. Interesting, was unaware that it was it had to be on for 5 minutes to heat the fuel. Is there a solution out there for hard line from IP to Filter? If not I'll have to see what I can come up with. Thank you guys for the kind words. I spent...

7.3 Fuel Heater Delete Pipe Plug

Not sure if this has been covered but I have an 1989 Ford FSuperduty wrecker. Which is the same motor as any F250 or F350. Have put new injectors, glow plugs, Facet fuel pump, fuel filter, battery cables also deleted the hard return line running up the drivers side valley as well as rebuild...

    89 7.3 Runs Great Won't Start

Yeah. It is just a picture I found on the internet as I didn't have one of mine. All I am concerned about is the black rectangle plug that is on the right (drivers side) in this picture on the throttle shaft. I have this sensor but I have NO PLUG going into it. Where does this plug come...

    89 7.3 Runs Great Won't Start

Also was out checking a few things out and notice that there is a sensor to the drivers side of the IP that is not plugged in. In fact I cannot find the plug at all. It is the black plug all the way to the far right in the picture.

    89 7.3 Runs Great Won't Start

I am glad to know that I am not the only one with crazy extra parts sitting around! I have spare E4OD that kind of had a forward gear, trans case and an extra 7.3L complete PSD (Harness, computer, IDM) just in case you know?!?

    obs 40/20/40 seat

Another little tip is that the front seat from reg/cc truck will bolt directly into the back seat of a cc truck. My trucks rear seat bottom was terrible so I swapped a new bottom with frame and it all bolted right in and slides as it should.

    My centrifuge set up

I did not know that PA had one like that. I thought all they had were the inverted ones.

    flywheel

I had one rip the center out of an E4OD but I guess that is considered more of a flex plate but the center was still on the crank and the flywheel was in the bottom of the bell.

    89 7.3 Runs Great Won't Start

Once this snow melts off here in NC I will get a look at the starter. I did look up on RockAuto looks like they have ACDELCO Part # 3362005A {#88864498} Remanufactured WITH NEW SOLENOID; MITSUBISHI Planetary Gear Reduction 3.6 KW for $137. Appreciate all the help so far.

    89 7.3 Runs Great Won't Start

I had tested the IP and it was good. Glad to know there some confirmation there too about the starting fluid and pump being good. I have been wondering about the starter not turning fast enough. I had my first PSD and it didn't turn over real well and I ended up putting a DB Electric starter on...

    89 7.3 Runs Great Won't Start

I have a 1989 Ford FSuperduty wrecker. I have put new GP's, GP harness, GP manual relay button, new injectors, return lines and caps and the Facet electric pump. I have no diesel leaks that are visible on the truck. I cannot for the life of me get this 7.3 to fire without a puff of starting...
