    I made a quick video. Trying to see if the worm gear is gone as previously mentioned. The quality is terrible, I can make a better one if necessary. I don't really know what I'm looking for but I don't see anything that would drive a gear..

    I was wrong, the cable had separated from the piece that goes into the housing (where the o ring is) I got it out and the gear looks good If I put it on the cable and spin it, the odometer moves. In guessing that means my issue is something else. Not sure what to check now

    Gotcha. Pardon my ignorance here, I have never had to deal with this issue before. I can't seem to find the gear on rock auto or oreilly, all that comes up is the cable, and it doesn't appear to have a gear on it. Will I have to take the extension housing off to fix this?

    It spins ok.. I was gonna put it on a drill and see if the speedometer moves. Was a gear supposed to come out with it, or am I supposed to try to look in the hole?

    I pulled it out, the square drive part looks fine.. How do I test the rest of the cable?? Someone above said they had to replace a ecm relay.. Could that be the problem?

    Changed the filter head and now it's running. Don't know how well because I have a couple wires smoking but for now the fuel issue appears to be resolved.
