Anyone in need of a LATHE?

I have a big old LeBlonde Regal lathe I regretfully must sell. I have it listed around, but, I'm not aggressively marketing it. I'd like ~1400 for it. You can see photos here: http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/machinery-sale-wanted/fs-leblonde-regal-lathe-asking-2k-274881/

    Craigslist- sometimes i wonder

This is pretty blatant plagurization of a Jeep ad that ran a couple weeks ago. Totally dumb. The original ad was awesome; this just... no.

    WTB: Turbo parts

I don't know exactly what I need, so bear with me. I know for sure I need the top hat thing that bolts to the motor, unless the non-turbo one will work. I need a downpipe also Thanks

10ft flat bed in place of 8ft long box?

There's a guy selling a steel flatbed frame with some beat up wood decking in my area for $500 http://holland.craigslist.org/pts/4131125966.html I was wondering if this would work if I still plan on hauling a 5th wheel. I currently have a CC LB dually. Thanks

    Muffler question. Dt466

You will not lose power, if any, you will gain. If you can, you should up your pipe diameter from the turbo out the back. The DT466 is a big motor and the stock exhaust choked it. If you have any inclination to up the power, you should find a decent exhaust shop to make for you a 5" turbo back...

    WTB 93+ Front Clip

Looking to ditch the block look of the 1990 F350, so I'm in the market for the front clip from a newer truck. I read the 93+ will bolt on. Prefer little to no rust, will travel a little. My truck is two tone, so if yours is to, great, if not, oh well :) Thanks

    Building an IDI finally :)

Hey everyone! I just found a good deal on a Jasper remanufactured IDI with a Hypermax turbo. I'm going to pick it up on Tuesday. My questions are: 1. Are the ARP studs going to be necessary? I'm trying to build the most reliable truck I can. 2. What's the best head gasket to buy? If I do the...

    long cranking problem

Sometimes my truck cranks and cranks and cranks. I think it's because of a bad airfilter, but the situation magically fixes itself the moment I try *any* fix, so I wish I could be of more help. It does this after driving, after sitting, or when it just feels like being an asshole

School me on clutch/flywheel assembly installation

Hey everyone. I got my ZF5 swap all sorted out and the seller gave me a clutch/flywheel assembly, still bolted together. It's been a while since I have messed with these. Can someone remind me where these go? Is it on the transmission, or to the engine? I feel so daft asking this, so please...

    What am I doing wrong?

I wasn't mixing anything, I removed 100% of the old stuff and replaced it will all new stuff, the new stuff leaked, so I reinstalled the old return kit, which doesn't leak. Actually, it's a good thing I got in there because a couple of my GPs are "connected" with electrical tape

    What am I doing wrong?

So I went out and got some grease and took the lines that I made off and then I greased the O-rings, and put the new line kit on. The problem I think are the plastic things that route the "return fuel", the old ones seem to just pop right one with no, if any, play.. the new ones feel loose. I...

    What am I doing wrong?

Alright, well these were $16 a piece, so I'm not too worried about them, I'll replace them when I go turbo... Gotta go get some grease I guess

    What am I doing wrong?

Alright, does it make a difference if they sent me "B" Code injectors? I pulled "E" codes out. Thanks, I'll go lube and redo the O-rings.

    What am I doing wrong?

So I bought a set of reman injectors and a return kit for my truck, and this weekend, while watching Akron come to within one play of beating UM, I got one side done. I fired the truck up, and the return lines are leaking like a sieve. I don't recall the old ones spraying fuel out. The...
