7.3 injector miss?
I have 5k miles on rebuilt injectors and a baby moose pump. This morning it started rough but smoothed out after a bit. After warming up it runs fine at idle. Around 1500rpm it starts to shudder a little bit. It's from the engine...it does it when not moving. Can anybody confirm an injector...- smithman

Wierd intermittent growl - only when warm
Please listen to the attached audio. No known correlation to anything. With windows up, it sounds like it's coming from the transmission. With windows down it sounds like it's from all around. Gear does not matter - i've heard it in 3rd, 4th, 5th gears. Clutch in/out does not matter. The...- smithman

Proactive lifter replacement?
I''m interested to hear the opinions out there. Currently I have the heads off my 7.3 for a valve + guide job. 154K on engine. I have inspected all lifters as-installed...no stuck lifters and they all drop down under their own weight as the manual says. Is it more advisable to just leave...- smithman

Blue Smoke with 7.3IDI
Hello all I have a '92 7.3 that doesn't smoke at all except for some blue smoke in certain conditions. Mileage 153K. Original IP and injectors as far as I can tell (purchased truck at 150K).
