Alternator issues?
I noticed my battery light came one today. Took it to school put a vat machine on it when it was running it had 12.4Volts. I put the amp clamp on and got like 4 amps output. 7.3 Blowing To Mutch Black Smoke??
My truck that i got about a year ago was rolling coal when i got it and still is. At first i thaught it was cool but know the gas milage kinda sucks. getting like 8 MPG everywhere i go is getting old. Also it is verry slow almost like the engine has to mutch fuel. 1990 f-250 New Fuel Tanks and lines question?
I just put in two new tanks and lines. Im going to put on a new fuel filter fill it with diesel and try to get it to start. How do you get rid of all the air in the fuel lines. I know that there is a bycicle valve on the seperator that you can purge air with.- Kelleyj1837

Fuel line Replacment
So i am going to run new steel fuel lines. I have to run small peices of ruber beween the steel lines and the sending units, fuel selector. What would you guys do, flair the line put a barb fitting on it or just slide it over and clamp it?- Kelleyj1837

7.3 Fuel Lines
Im replacing the fuel tanks soon, and im going to put on new fuel lines beacuse the person before me has about 3Feet extra near the transfer case. I know the sizes are 5/16 Return and 3/8 Supply. Removal of frame rivets?
What is the best way to remove rivets from the frame i am replacing front leaf spring mounts. and we have saw different ideas like cutting the heads of with a torch, Grinding them off, Cutting a X into them and hitting them with a air hammer. Whats the best way you guys know of?:D:D- Kelleyj1837

7.3 Fuel Lines/ Stalling while driveing
I have a 1990 F-250 7.3 IDI, We are putting in new fuel tanks and the kid who had it before me ran rubber fuel lines and left so mutch extra line its got a huge lupe right next to the transfercase.
