Anybody ever had to use an impact on torque converter bolts?

FWIW at the trans shop I used to work at we always used an air ratchet or impact depending on the space available to do converter bolts/nuts along with lock tite.

    FS: King pin D60

I was out there today, but completely forgot to take pics. I did check those u-joints and I was wrong, they are still good. As far as pics go, it looks like any other d60 I've seen, has surface rust on it but nothing to be concerned about. Nothing leaks on it, and I locked the hubs in and turned...

I'll try and get pictures tomorrow if I make it out there. It's at my dads 40 miles away from me. I haven't pulled the cover, but I locked the hubs and spun it and everything felt okay. I want to say I needed new u-joints but I can't remember, its been about 4 weeks since I've looked at it.

    fuel filter change

I would not use atf. Atf has additives in it to prevent burning. I would reccomend 2 stroke oil over anything. VP44 pumps are very picky about lubricity as well, and believe it or not, atf is very grabby and does not lube as well as you would think. Lots of guys on other forums I'm on use the 2...

I'm not too far from brown county. And it wouldn't be a big deal for me to get this off the truck and set it somewhere out of my way until then. If you're interested in working something out shoot me a PM and we'll make something happen.

FS: OBS & Brick custom dually flat bed

I picked up an OBS dually off a buddy a few weeks ago for a project and it had this bed on it. I'm swaping to truck from DRW to SRW so I have no use for it. Its a flat bed with fiberglass sides made to look like factory sides, and has a built in gooseneck. I also have the headache rack for it...

batt connections are all good. grounds are all good. a lil greasy, but no corrosion. there is a pugtail on the pass battery ground that goes to the fender then has another pigtail that grounds to the gpr that is unplugged. but it has been like that the whole time ive owned the truck.
