Turbo Intercooler Sizes/Upgrades
I'm putting an intercooler in my '86 it is out of a 04? dodge. I did have to cut it down a little. The inlet and outlet are 3". I think I may be it the market for a different turbo sometime in the future. I would like to run 2.5" piping as that is what is on my intake hat and maybe a little...- stuborn nut

Finally getting another engine
So this is the start if a rebuilt engine for my rig. I have been collecting parts and trying to decide what I was going to do for about 3 years now. So what I decided was 6.9 is the least expensive base engine for me to put together so I had a little left over for some of the extras I wanted...- stuborn nut

Why should I keep the IDI?
Well it's time to start thinking about replacing my 6.9l. I don't know what direction to go. I'm leaning toward a idi, have some cores and I could build it in pieces. So what do you guys thing on a rebuilt idi vs. a used cummins? one other question what are the pros and cons of a 6.9l vs...- stuborn nut
