    Other than the banks kit this is the best upgrade on the rig! Quality was good and cools way better than my stock rebuilt unit. I no longer worry about towing across the desert, gauge never moves over 195.

    thanks guys for the part numbers, I found the problem after reading a few articles i went out, got the truck warm in the drive, thew a handy cinder block on the pedal and looked at the lower hose, under idle its fine but 2500 rpm its sucked up like a carrer tweaker.

    The truck hasn't had one dice I've owned it. After chasing a mild overheating/ running warm I found the lower hose is sucked up like a safeway chicken. So the good news is easy fix...... If I can find the stupid part!

    High Idle????

    Was having a problem with my alternato so I swapped it along with the voltage regulator and after all is said and done I fire up the truck and it's idling around 1200 rpm, never has idiled that high in the past. Thought on what the hell happend or what I might have screwed up? Thanks in advance!

    Most acid concrete cleaners contain muratic acid which causes instant rust in metals. I just used a product made by called restore plus to clean mine and wow what a difference it made! Went from running warm with rust circulatin through the system to running cool and clean after the restore...

    I pull the power steering pump loose, leave the lines connected and wire it up then slide the cooler out the front

    I had the power pack on mine before the turbo, made a noticeable difference to me! And for reference I cut my soupbowl out of my lid, but after the banks lid it had a little better acceleration

    Surfib, if you need an exhaust I have a used banks kit just sitting in the garage I would let go cheap! I'm not too far north
