    Trucks still purring along. Put new to me injectors in it. Most of the blue haze at start up is gone. Old injectors had about 450k miles these ones have 300k on em :D. Full set of brakes in November. I mounted my 12k winch up front over the winter..maybe next year ill get around to wiring it...

    Since the cummins conversion, I am still using the stock ford evap and drier. But using dodge compressor and condenser. How can one go about making new lines that fit both ends? Is it possible to use hydraulic lines with welded on AN fittings? No idea about mix and matching ac parts...

    go tit all shimmed up, .012 average backlash, dindt really see much more run out from it past .001. Taking it for a spin today see how it does. I didnt bother with the gear compound...I know if i see omething that i not optimal im going to pend the next 3 weeks puling the entire rear end out...

    .018 is sloppy, id expect that with a rear end that has god knows who many miles and original bearings. I know with the stock shims, I have 0 backlash with new carrier and new bearings.

    ah found this rule of thumb: The backlash will generally change about 0.007" for each 0.010" the carrier moves. Man, i just dont want to be getting into pinion shims.... I know I was stock at .018. Gears look good. If i get back to .018 or close, i shouldnt have to worry about...
