Fuel Filter clogging in cold weather
Since I have a relocated LP (thanks Vulcan Welding) and 1/2" lines and a second, 10 micron filter, do I need to worry about the second, unheated, filter clogging with wax? Question RE: 6 litre PSD
I heard a rumor on the Ford site that Ford has announced that the 6.0 is being discontinued. #1, Is this true? #2, If so, why? #3, If so, what will they replace it with? I hate rumors and hope that someone here will know the truth.- Texas Diesel

Needed badly

Vw Tdi
We are considering buying a VW TDI. We would appreciate any comments, problems or other things you think we should be aware of. We would only buy manual shift models, probably a 4 door station wagon type. Comments? TIA- Texas Diesel

For fun we remove the steering box
With 165k miles the truck was starting to wander a bit. We pulled the gearbox and tightened the preload; pretty much left the over center as it was. Now drives tight as a new truck :) Took 2.5 hours and well worth the work. Sure beats buying a new gear box.- Texas Diesel
