Pick up tubes and filler neck upgrade.
I have called several auto parts stores in regards to replacing my pick up tubes in my fuel tanks. They all are telling me there is no such a thing. So how do I repair my tubes. Where in the world can a guy even find one? I am curiously contemplating putting a 4bt in my '66 slick. It is a 2wd shortwide. Would that be a good marriage? I would obviously trash the 3 on the tree, I would prefer to stay with a manual transmission. It would obviously need power steering...- adtman

What is going on with my tranny/clutch!

My neighbor has just offered me his 1986 Ford F250. 2wd, Auto 7.3 n/a. Regular cab. Transmission has been rebuilt and has less than 200 miles on it. Truck - 1993 F250 Factory Turbo 5 spd 4 WD Ex Cab. I dropped the tranny because my slave cylinders kept failing. I could not even move the slave cylinder forks with a pry bar. 93 IDI Turbo 4WD 5Spd cluth....RLDSL????
Well it is time to put a clutch in the 3/4 ton. I was told by another member that RLDSL has been through some clutches. I haul heavy equipment, hay etc. I need a clutch that is going to hold up and last a while. I don't want to have to do this again anytime soon. I am open to suggestions...- adtman

Helping a buddy
Buddy got a 96 PSD Bullydogged Auto 4wd. The automatic O/D light is blinking. I posted on FTE as well. When he takes it out of O/D the O/D light blinks constantly, no breaks in between flashing. Anyone have any ideas? Could the bullydog be messing w/the computer?- adtman
