Also, just some info on the body lift. Wasnt my first choice either... it went on after i first got the truck in hs in 06. It was 6" for about 100 bucks. It is comprised of energy susp. Urethane bushings under boat trailer roller halfs, with bolts upgraded to 3/4" grade 8. In adition to 3/8 C...
No vids of the wheel stands im aware of, didnt have my new droid back then and no video camera.
I just gotta pop the hub covers off to lock the hubs in. It adds a whole 30 seconds to the process.
My best friend since high school has nissan ricer, im even helping him build the motor and fab the...
Alredy runnin 60hp/70hd axles w/ 8 on 6.5 pattern. Picked up some late model dodge adapters made by american force on ebay cheep and turned out the center for the larger ford hubs. After that everything just bolted on.
Ihave given thought to sending some pics to hotwheels, who knows.. maybe it could lead to matchbox or radio controled toy of it... then maybe a part in the next cars movie as maters cousin or somethin ...haha the royalty checks would sure be nice...
You know im not a big fan of the execution either. But i did the best with what i had to work with. Ive got less money in the entire truck than some people spend on the 22.5 conversions alone. Look up my previous threads about the motor swap, i dont have a nice shop and a big bank account and i...

Part of my reasoning for the conversion in the first place. It would have been more expensive for me to get a new set of 38 11r16 boggers with new rims than it was for the whole 24.5 conversion. And ill get literally 10x the miles out of these
You and me both. Couldnt find any that werent crazy expensive. These are not in the best condition either but they went on untill i can get some correct ones. Plus they are the same color. And thats why i dint put alot of effort into copeing them around the stacks. The whole conversion took...
It wasnt easy. I cut the bronco fender out and spliced in the sheetmetal from a donor ff350 bed so that the seam was hidden behind the fender. So no bodywork :) only had .5"in margin so it wasnt easy.
Nope its gonna stay 2 door. Next, eventually is to trash the body lift for 8" susp. Paintand body. And going to raise the rear hatch 6-8in and incorperate some vista windows like an old KW. fab up some bumpers, redo interior, 99 powerstroke zf6 swap, floats in the front and closed shoulder...
