    Because this is so wrong I just called my machine shop, he said absolutely do not go over 96. he has seen the supplement, says its very wrong info, puts the bolt very close to failure torque. I listen to this guy when he talks.

    DO NOT USE THE TORQUE ANGLE METHOD. YOU WILL RUIN THE BOLTS. 50 rebuilds on these and Ive never done it like that 96 ft lbs IIRC is the spec.

    Probably nothing wrong with them, BUT you cant get replacements, till now. With all the people overtorquing them to powerstroke specs, they SHOULD put the correct ones in instead of just random hardware bolts. These are 5/8 head like the factory bolts, spreads the load out for better clamping...

    Leave the oil sender as it is, the oil line for that turbo hooks up to the block down by the oil cooler. I have install kits for the 088 and oil lines and whatever you may need for the turbo install. I will email you more info.

    To the original poster, Im guessing your vacuum system has a leak and or your vacuum pumpp is getting real weak. Also remove the radiator cap and make sure its near full.

    Hook the yellow sense wire to the battery instead of the alternator and see what it does

    It could be the meter. Or 1 diode IIRC the diesel trucks had a lower set point voltage, less computers to run.

    I bought 2 power steering seal kits , one for each truck. Pressure washed the parts truck last week , I hate green slime on things im working on. Time to start fixing the 4X4
