    Finally got to this -- 6 bad glow plugs -- (could not start when temperatures dropped) but controller showed signs of overheating with burn marks on 2 of the wires -- eventually wait to start light came on bright and steady while driving. Replaced all plugs + controller -- system back to normal.

    Driving down the road - Wait to Start lite comes on -- sometimes bright, sometimes dim, sometimes flickers 1) what sets it to come on ? 2) what to do to check that glow plugs aren't heating ?? Voltmeter is steady with no show of spikes or overly high voltage. Thanks in advance
