    I recommend you get the EVTM, Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual, for your vehicle. It won't help with the ambulance stuff, but it'll tell you all about what Ford put in there in the beginning. That's what the ambulance upfitter butchered.

    CDD is still in business, and his pumps might be the best we can get. He has the factory equipment to test the pumps when he's done, and is doing things like putting ceramic lining in the advance cylinder. I'm sorry to hear about Typ4. Did he pass on the secret recipe for his cams to anyone?

    I kinda like those hoop steps, they're easy to bypass but they let the short people in. The ambulance has running boards, and they're awkward for me, but my little woman loves them.

    Vantage Optics makes the projector retrofits for the Econolines. I went that route instead of diy, it was worth the moderate extra cost.

    I have the round Holly Retrobrights on the Mercedes, and they're a noticeable step up from the stock sealed beams. I have Morimoto LED projector retrofits on the ambulance, and they are a much bigger step up. I don't really feel the need for moose lights on the ambulance now.

    Factory Wire Colors

    I'm not finding either name in the Engine Controls section. There's the Engine Temp Switch which controls the cold advance solenoid, colors GY/R and R/LG. Somehow I can't send the picture from my phone. In the instrument cluster section, I find a temp sensor. This picture I could send.

    For AC you absolutely want the two wires running side by side, as close as possible, to reduce impedance. It's a code requirement to have the hot legs and neutral in the same conduit. For DC it doesn't really matter.

    Planning to have the compressor in a compartment, to keep it cleaner. I figure I'll have a quick disconnect for the air line running to the tank, and an Anderson SB50 disconnect for the compressor, and be able to take it out and use it with another vehicle.
