    NITROGEN-ON-DEMAND TECHNOLOGY

Nitrogen on demand? There's no such thing unless you're trying to get more oil out of an old well... I think you're talking about nitrous oxide injection. Nitrogen, being an inert gas and injected into the intake air would displace oxygen at a rate of 20% of the injected nitrogen’s total volume...

Tips for beach driving in an f250

A lot of good advice here, I'm trying to think of anything not covered already, having spent my life on Florida beaches, sand dunes and marshes.. I guess "don't get cocky" would sound condescending, so I won't say it, but don't anyway-:D I couldn't tell you the number of times I've seen guys...

    Cant use just any hose...

Yes and yes-:D.. I'm no longer running the stock filter head, but at the same location is a big in-line 10 micron canister style filter- (the 20 micron filter is down by the facet e-pump on the frame rail) any way, on the IP I have replaced the stock fitting with a male brass NPSF to female NPT...

Got my hx35 for 50 bucks from my buddy's cummins

Hey Trap, Why has he got to make custom manifolds? Couldn't he just get a Y-pipe from a pick-n-pull and cut the flanges off to use (or even his old ones if he's brave) and go from there?

If I didn't have BAD luck, I would have no luck

OK, it hasn't surged any more since you switched tanks except for a little shortly after you did it... You've put 600 miles on it and no more surges. Starts and runs great... I suspect that it sucked a little air at the end of that one tank, surged and died, you switched tanks and there was just...

new video of the idi knocking really bad

If the pump has never been fooled with, and by that I mean turned up and/or turned toward the passenger side (advanced) then I'm gonna say that you probably need a new set of injectors.. That smoke in the video doesn't look blue to me, it looks dirty grey like partially burnt fuel. Did it smoke...

    Pillar Post question

Seems to work fine for me for oil pressure and mechanical temp. If it breaks it breaks, turn off engine, plug it, go home and fix it. Pay daughter 10 bucks to clean up oil. Problem solved.;Really:D

I picked up one of these new 220psi water injection pumps

Sorry man, I didn't do one- didn't think anyone would be interested! It's simple enough to describe though... the pump's mounted underneath the cab, screwed into the floor pan- where my left foot sits when not on the clutch. The wires are routed to a relay mounted on the drivers side wheel well...

I picked up one of these new 220psi water injection pumps

Yeppers... 3 Ecologic stainless & brass .015 nozzles running at about 70 psi. I recently installed a GE whole house water filter to cure a orifice clogging problem, but that has been the extent of any woes with the system. It's manually activated with a toggle switch mounted on the shifter. The...

    Question for TYP4

Yeah, I've been giving that some thought.. Use the leftover pipe from the stock exhaust and a couple elbows to fab a long V terminating in an adapter that mates with 5" aluminized steel exhaust tube, back to 5" 90 elbow & up through bed on passenger side to a single 5" black ceramic coated 48"...

    Question for TYP4

Mike, I was actually thinking about keeping the hot side hotter- but just not under the hood.. Also, the underside location really appeals to my "Keep It Stupid Simple" approach to things I cobble together, knowing that at some point maintenance will be required.

    Question for TYP4

Zackly... It's probably just me, but I think it's already hot enough under the hood without piping exhaust heat up to a heat storage device and then back down & out. Ideally I would like to have the turbos as close to the end of each stock manifold as possible. If I could find an IC that has a...

    Question for TYP4

Russ, Thank you- If you were thinking about trying it then I'm probably headed in the right direction. I don't know what the number/letter designations mean, but if it spooled too quickly am I correct in assuming that you would go up on the size of the exhaust side? (63 - 83) less...

    Question for TYP4

Tom, These things are little... The whole idea is to be able to spool each one with the exhaust from only one manifold, and keep both of them under the truck as close to the manifold as is practical. The engines they are usually used on are ~2 liter screamers. I'm not well versed in Turbo-Fu...

    Whats your recipe

About 70% WMO 30% #2ULSD in summer, and 50/50 in winter- with starts and finishes on straight #2. The fuel heater and Facet e-pump really help.
