I do remember the filter he put on was a cheap stp one. I replaced it with wix when I did the cooler. Now it will be getting a 1995 motorcraft when it goes back in its hole.- Dieselcrawler

Which Moose pump?
Mel and some of the other guys were there when we played with my timing on my old 94 at Mel's last pa rally. We set it for 8.5, then 9.5 then 10.5. 10.5 it lost power. 9.5 made more hp and tq than 8.5. So I always try and set them around 9-9.5. No, the original filter was swapped back when it first came back to me and I installed a different oil cooler thinking the relief valve was stuck- Dieselcrawler

well, after a long battle, the issue has been found. To those who said a blockage in the galley, you were right! No idea what it is, or where it came from, but this was found in the main oil galley pretty much right where it intersects with the feed for the tappet galley. If your hard line from lift pump to filter is cracked, you can make one from 3/8 brake line. Pretty easy- Dieselcrawler

Either lock tight the bolts or convert it to studs. Never had a problem once we swapped them to studs. Eventually I will do it on my wheeler, the spool shakes them loose after a couple trips- Dieselcrawler

I may have another junk one soon. Another parts truck. 86 f350 cclb 4x4 I am hoping to get. Oil cooler has been off it for years, and no air cleaner on it. But I grabbed the belts and it did turn so it isn't rusted up.....- Dieselcrawler

Vacuum line switch at brake pedal ?
It slides into a slot on the clutch pedal, down from the top. If nobody can help, I can take a picture at 230 when I get back to my truck- Dieselcrawler

being a 92, yours should have the fuse panel under the hood with the fuse for the pump. if not, over on the pass side near the starter solenoid is fusable links. they look just like wires. give each one a little tug. if it comes apart, you burnt it up. replaced the section of wire with either an...- Dieselcrawler

there are plenty of them in my area, so non runners or anything with issues is scrap. i save the pumps and injectors and off they go. scrapped three this past summer.- Dieselcrawler
