    Only thing I see is you will want a bung in the upper hose on the engine to fill/bleed air. Just looks like a 1/2 pipe plug there. Will work but might fight filling being that small. Most guys put a second cap on

    I have had many trucks through my shop that would not fire on ether at all. But the same can will light off my 86 no problem. Some engines are picky. The ones that don't like ether, normally will fire right up with a gas rag.

    You can replace main bearings without removing the crank. We do it on larger truck engines all the time when doing an inframe. All you need is a roofing nail

    85-86 bullnose 460 trucks were carbed but did have in tank fuel pumps with a regulator on the engine and a return line.

    Definitely check the firewall. Watch from the engine side as someone pushes in the clutch. If it flexes, order up the firewall brace.

    yep. the eldo parking brakes will not hold back alot of weight. and the drums will work much better for stopping all that weight over the little chevy calipers.

    you can try and calculate it out, but i have found the best thing to do is buy the assortment pack and just try different ones. you most likely will NOT find one that is dead on. it might be perfect up to 35-40 mph then read slower from there up, or the oppsite.

    timing vs. fuel pressure.

    Yep mel tested it on his bench tester. More fuel pressure into the injection pump did advance the timing. But no long term affects have ever been tested.
