4 speed will work perfectly fine for what you have, even better if you do plow with it since i see the frame. what you did not mention is if the dump truck was 4x4.

    Will they fit... wheel questions

86-97 ford rims have the largest hub hole. they will fit on anything. nothing else will fit on them other than aftermarket. i have opened up a set of chevy H2 wheels to fit on mine with a aluminum burr on my die grinder.

    EGT's and location of probe

bolted to the head is only telling you head tempature. you need to know what the temp of the gases coming out of the heads are. cyls 6 ans 8 fire right after each other making that location the hottest. this is why we say to drill and tap the driverside manifold as close to cyl 8 as possible.

    Help on Fuel System Issue

also the injection pump can pull fuel, but not really enough. i drove on mine for two days before i found out the lift pump was dead. and btw it sounds like your pump is advanced a little high, unless the cold advance was still being powered in your first video.

    Help on Fuel System Issue

the knocking and carrying on is due to air. if no fuel is coming out the schrader, and you hold it in, you are introducing air into they system. i have had many faulty lift pumps new. one of them i eventually figured out was not really reaching the cam. after some cuts and welds, i rebent the...

Odd find at my grandfathers estate. tu-flo501 compressors.

nope they are new. but they are the old style. pulley and belt driven. the two 3/4 pipe threads on the head are for coolant, then one of the lower holes on the side is for oil and the bottom is oil drain back to the engine. not worth alot but still i would say 250-350 bucks a pop.

New idea to help with heatsoak

so a 300 dollar fiberglass hood that needs to be fitted and painted vs 35 dollar vents. hell we used heater registers on my pops jeep. giving the air a place to go other than out the bottom in any way is better. i thought about possibly doing something like this in my fenders to 1, let the heat...
