    tuff country vs rough country

sky manufactuing makes a 6.5 inch shackle flip kit for the rear. i have one on my truck. add a 2 inch block and you have 8.5 inches of lift. now that sounds like alot, but stock f350 has a 4 inch block. so putting a 4 inch lift ontop of that normally means 2, 4 inch stacked blocks. i love their...

How to clean a rusty axle

did you get the outer dually wheels with it? the 4x4 dually wheels are different than the 2wd ones. the BS is a little bit more, mainly gaining you another 5/8 inch or so between the duals in the rear.

    Which Dana 70 ???

reading about them, all the d70 axles, (d70,d70u,d70HD) all use the same outer parts. all the variances are inside the carrier. so unless your doing a gear swap or inner bearings, no need to worry the d70U has a smooth bottom. ALL dana axles have the size cast into one of the webs on the...

    Engine Preluber

definatly not worth it for our old turds. having ran engines for over 5 mins with NO oil pressure and they are still out there working today, our engines are fine. i had an old EX200 hitachi excavator that always had a hammer or tamper on it. shook the machine to all hell, enough that the pickup...

    grounding....

My 86 has been like that for years. Batteries are behind the cab. None of my ground cables are longer than 16 inches, all 2/0 cable. 3/0 running from battery to lug on frame up front for positive. Then from that lug out to starter and everything else.

    No oil pressure

That's what I did.... the 7.3 is the one with the oil issue. I am leaning towards gear on the pump came loose. He said randomly it will get gauge movement, which means the gear grabbed.

    No oil pressure

What makes this worse is it isn't my damn truck. Side job I took on at home. 83 dually, 17 year old kid killed the 6.9. I sold him the engine that ran great for 500 bucks, then 400 to install it with his help. A week later he calls and tells me it's ticking. Well the tick is lifters randomly.

    Radiator Relocation

Everyone I know used 2 inch exhaust tubing running down the frame rails, and flexible rubber hose to link the tube to the engine and such. As for our pumps being able, I would say absolutely, I was flushing mine once and had s heater hose off to flush that good. At idle it pushed a few feet out...
