No cupholder? More like a "Futility Belt" if you ask me.

    Cup holders

We didn't have a lake to contend with, just sheer cliffs on a narrow and twisty 2 lane. Also snow and ice in the winter. In fact, there wasn't a winter I recall where the bus didn't do a 360 on the ice heading down the mountain to school at least once. Somehow no one ever got hurt. It was one...

I'll have to pick your brain at some point. I couldn't do it in winter here but summer is doable. Any experience with synthetic? Yay or Nay?

Classic Diesel Designs 61mm drop in replacement for a banks turbo.

Okay I'm a little concerned by your stove pipe. Would be worried about rust inside eventually. Had a friend one time who made his intake from PVC. That concerned me too. Otherwise looking good. Thanks for sharing the process.

So what did you do with your truck today?

So not today, really Sunday, I put my bored .040 6.9 block back on the engine stand. Needed the stand for my tractor motor so just set it on the floor of my shop. Not out of the way either. Just right in the middle of everything. So in an effort to get the shop more functional I did that...

My 19' Titan XD has 14 cup holders inside. 2 in each of the 4 doors. 2 in the front and 2 in the back of the center console. And 2 in the fold down thingy in the rear seat. These guys weren't cussing around.

This is cup holder related. I promise. In the car with the video of the cup holders in action lies a 7 year old battery. It is actually the consumer battery. Starting battery is less than a year old. Anyway, every "Knowledgeable" Merc guy I know of swears you cannot run a consumer...

    Caution " Oh Reallys" alert

Not the "O" but years ago at advance I had bought a new A/C compressor, lifetime warranty. It failed in 6 months. I got it replaced. That one failed. Their excuse for not replacing it a 2nd time? We discontinued that part number so we can't warranty it. ***? Yeah they lost my business that day...

I'd rather mow with grassy beer than no beer. But that's just me. My mower has a molded plastic thingy that houses the cup holder and a bin for the empties which I let collect until it's full and can't fit any more empties.

Umm yeah sorry been absent lately. Started new job July 17th been super busy so far. Cupholders are in the fold down center center piece in the seat from a 2003 F150. Not the greatest fit (Sits too high) but won't interfere with shifter when and if I ever make that move. Just need to find a...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Well I didn't do any in depth testing but after your earlier question I put a meter on it. 14.22V at idle. Original 280k alternator that I did swap the regulator on about 12 or 13 years ago.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Yes but not many. I am not a picture guy. Also we didn't hit the popular spots on this trip. Done most of that before. This was a trip to see family who lives there. Hope I can go again soon.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Unpacked yesterday afternoon. Put dirtbikes up where they go and found a home (parking spot) for the new trailer. It was a rougher trip than it needed to be due to the sensor failures. But overall I am thoroughly impressed with the old truck. Now to start the next phase of maintenance and...

So what did you do with your truck today?

So to answer thoroughly. FIPL sensor brand is Standard. Might be better ones just not readily available. Check RockAuto. I got mine at O'reilly's as I was on the road. Also they claim lifetime warranty which I will verify in the next day or so since I bought 2. It dawned on me that since I had...

So what did you do with your truck today?

So 800+ miles after swapping the FIPL I am home. Was a long day. Left Lincoln NE at 6 am. Due to the complete mess the truck became it was 3pm before we left Columbia MO. I was literally the guy with flashers on nursing the truck to the next stop. When it was right it ran perfectly. But then it...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Going to be swapping out the FIPL again today. Not 100% sure it'll fix anything but worth it if it does. I was super careful about heat soaking this morning and problems started again with trans temps below 160 and engine at 190. Made it to Columbia MO Since but is acting exactly like it did...

Man I remember the carpet store dumpster. Triple layered my garage so the band could practice in "free" carpet.
