Hit and miss with the batteries and service.
I had zero issues in my Explorer.
My truck ... one actually started leaking. Took them both in to swap. Gal at customer service starts giving me a hard time about needing management etc. I proceed to pick up the battery that was leaking (more...
Just imagine the gay truck pulling a cow camper....Oh wait, I don't have to imagine it...I lived it!
No offense to anyone but Darrin has hands down the best brick that I know of.
Payments suck but the problem with older trucks (when buying them) is getting the cash together to get one. At least that is my issue! My Elantra payment is (now with lower gas prices) just a bit more than the fuel bill was for the Jeep! I still keep looking though!
This year does not appear...
Greg, On my Elantra the shop is charging $50 an hour for frame labor. Of course this is through the other drivers insurance company. Not sure what a cash deal would be.
I would talk to them. You may have to remove the doors etc, but let them put it on the rack and square it up for ya.

I agree with Scott on most. Can't speak of the V10, but my Grand Cherokee has the 5.9 (one year only option). When I got the truck (my sister was second and main owner) it had about 155K. It has 189K now. Running premium fuel I managed to get it up to 16 with out AC. Regular fuel and she pinged...
No, there is a lot of us in this boat.
I will always remember my first post on the other site that was answered by Pete. Glowplugs... sure 'nuff 3 were dead. Even though I no longer have the truck (or any for that matter) I still sneak on here and look around. I wish I had the post or pics...

I say IDI 250 also. Heck my Grand Cherokee 5.9 kills me in gas, I can't imagine what a 460 gets (8 downhill?). As a previous owner of a CC - they are long and you better have started your turn yesterday to be finished today.
On a side note - as Tow Kitty said the sad reality is you will be in...
Not exactly sure of my days. The kids really want to come so we will be there sometime. I went and bought a pop up earlier in November but it needs some love. Hoping to have it done and take to the rally. Tow vehicle is a concern. The GC needs some love also. Was planning to trade her Jeep and...
I can't believe I am jumping in here but... here goes.
The pic is post 58. Spline count (according to my public school education) is 19. A Dana 50 should have a 50 cast into the housing and to my knowledge was only available with one spline count - 30 splines. A Dana 44 had multiple spline...
that is why we are / were known as basement dwellers... Amazing how I can forget so much and yet remember ^^^^
Oh well...I have added nothing to this post so I will go back to work! :D
