Has anyone dry sump a diesel? I know stock cars now days are getting dry sump but I think it would be cool for an old 7.3idi or cummins getting dry sump system. Or even powerstroke.

None that I am aware of recently But Cummins himself did a dry sump in the early 1900s so he could lay it on its side in a race car.. its gotta be possible but I don't see a reason for it personally.

I know in drag cars you use a dry sump for high rpms because on the crankshaft keeping the old away from the pick up tube and in the valley as well. Plus it on a daily driver it has better control on oil flow and less time on dry starts.

Agreed. We used to knife edge cranks on race car engines to reduce drag. but dry sump was not a system I wanted to trust my motor to.
