I am contemplating putting a 7.3idi into my gasser 4spd suburban. doesnt look like adapting the ford bell to the gm trans will be a problem. Anybody have any experience with any fitment issues I might run into?

You might want to get in touch with "GenLightning"...he did an IDI swap into a Chebby crew-cab dualie, which IIRC should have the same under-hood area as a Suburban...
